Then there was a famine in the days of David three years； year after year； and David enquired of the LORD。 And the LORD answered； It is for Saul； and for his bloody house； because he slew the Gibeonites。
21：2原来这基遍人不是以色列人，乃是亚摩利人中所剩的。以色列人曾向他们起誓，不杀灭他们，扫罗却为以色列人和犹大人发热心，想要杀灭他们。大卫王召了他们来，
And the king called the Gibeonites； and said unto them； （now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel； but of the remnant of the Amorites； and the children of Israel had sworn unto them： and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah。）
21：3问他们说，我当为你们怎样行呢。可用什么赎这罪，使你们为耶和华的产业祝福呢。
Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites； What shall I do for you？ and wherewith shall I make the atonement； that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD？
21：4基遍人回答说，我们和扫罗与他家的事并不关乎金银，也不要因我们的缘故杀一个以色列人。大卫说，你们怎样说，我就为你们怎样行。
And the Gibeonites said unto him； We will have no silver nor gold of Saul； nor of his house； neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel。 And he said； What ye shall say； that will I do for you。
21：5他们对王说，那从前谋害我们，要灭我们，使我们不得再住以色列境内的人，
And they answered the king； The man that consumed us； and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel；
21：6现在愿将他的子孙七人交给我们，我们好在耶和华面前，将他们悬挂在耶和华拣选扫罗的基比亚。王说，我必交给你们。
Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us； and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul； whom the LORD did choose。 And the king said； I will give them。
21：7王因为曾与扫罗的儿子约拿单指着耶和华起誓结盟，就爱惜扫罗的孙子，约拿单的儿子米非波设，不交出来。
But the king spared Mephibosheth； the son of Jonathan the son of Saul； because of the LORD's oath that was between them； between David and Jonathan the son of Saul。
21：8却把爱雅的女儿利斯巴给扫罗所生的两个儿子亚摩尼，米非波设，和扫罗女儿米甲的姊姊给米何拉人巴西莱儿子亚得列所生的五个儿子
But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah； whom she bare unto Saul； Armoni and Mephibosheth； and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul； whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite：
21：9交在基遍人的手里。基遍人就把他们，在耶和华面前，悬挂在山上，这七人就一同死亡。被杀的时候正是收割的日子，就是动手割大麦的时候。
And he delivered them into the hands of the Gibeonites； and they hanged them in the hill before the LORD： and they fell all seven together； and were put to death in the days of harvest； in the first days； in the beginning of barley harvest。
21：10爱雅的女儿利斯巴用麻布在磐石上搭棚，从动手收割的时候直到天降雨在尸身上的时候，日间不容空中的雀鸟落在尸身上，夜间不让田野的走兽前来糟践。
And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth； and spread it for her upon the rock； from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven； and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day； nor the beasts of the field by night。
21：11有人将扫罗的妃嫔爱雅女儿利斯巴所行的这事告诉大卫。
And it was told David what Rizpah the daughter of Aiah； the concubine of Saul； had done。
21：12大卫就去，从基列雅比人那里将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨搬了来。是因非利士人从前在基利波杀扫罗，将尸身悬挂在伯珊的街市上，基列雅比人把尸身偷了去。
And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabeshgilead； which had stolen them from the street of Bethshan； where the Philistines had hanged them； when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa：
21：13大卫将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨从那里搬了来，又收殓被悬挂七人的骸骨，
And he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son； and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged。
21：14将扫罗和他儿子约拿单的骸骨葬在便雅悯的洗拉，在扫罗父亲基士的坟墓里。众人行了王所吩咐的。此后神垂听国民所求的。
And the bones of Saul and Jonathan his son buried they in the country of Benjamin in Zelah； in the sepulchre of Kish his father： and they performed all that the king manded。 And after that God was intreated for the land。
21：15非利士人与以色列人打仗。大卫带领仆人下去，与非利士人接战，大卫就疲乏了。
Moreover the Philistines had yet war again with Israel； and David went down； and his servants with him； and fought against the Philistines： and David waxed faint。
21：16伟人的一个儿子以实比诺要杀大卫。他的铜枪重三百舍客勒，又佩着新刀。
And Ishbibenob； which was of the sons of the giant； the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight； he being girded with a new sword； thought to have slain David。
21：17但洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛帮助大卫，攻打非利士人，将他杀死。当日，跟随大卫的人向大卫起誓说，以后你不可再与我们一同出战，恐怕熄灭以色列的灯。
But Abishai the son of Zeruiah succoured him； and smote the Philistine； and killed him。 Then the men of David sware unto him； saying； Thou shalt go no more out with us to battle； that thou quench not the light of Israel。
21：18后来，以色列人在歌伯与非利士人打仗，户沙人西比该杀了伟人的一个儿子撒弗。
And it came to pass after this； that there was again a battle with the Philistines at Gob： then Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Saph； which was of the sons of the giant。
21：19又在歌伯与非利士人打仗，伯利恒人雅雷俄珥金的儿子伊勒哈难杀了迦特人歌利亚。这人的枪杆粗如织布的机轴。
And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines； where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim； a Bethlehemite； slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite； the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam。
21：20又在迦特打仗，那里有一个身量高大的人，手脚都是六指，共有二十四个指头。他也是伟人的儿子。
And there was yet a battle in Gath； where was a man of great stature； that had on every hand six fingers； and on every foot six toes； four and twenty in number； and he also was born to the giant。
21：21这人向以色列人骂阵，大卫的哥哥示米亚的儿子约拿单就杀了他。
And when he defied Israel； Jonathan the son of Shimeah the brother of David slew him。
21：22这四个人是迦特伟人的儿子，都死在大卫和他仆人的手下。
These four were born to the giant in Gath； and fell by the hand of David； and by the hand of his servants。

22：1当耶和华救大卫脱离一切仇敌和扫罗之手的日子，他向耶和华念这诗，
And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies； and out of the hand of Saul：
22：2说，耶和华是我的岩石，我的山寨，我的救主，
And he said； The LORD is my rock； and my fortress； and my deliverer；
22：3我的神，我的磐石，我所投靠的。他是我的盾牌，是拯救我的角，是我的高台，是我的避难所。我的救主阿，你是救我脱离强暴的。
The God of my rock； in him will I trust： he is my shield； and the horn of my salvation； my high tower； and my refuge； my saviour； thou savest me from violence。
22：4我要求告当赞美的耶和华，这样，我必从仇敌手中被救出来。
I will call on the LORD； who is worthy to be praised： so shall I be saved from mine enemies。
22：5曾有死亡的波浪环绕我，匪类的急流使我惊惧，
When the waves of death passed me； the floods of ungodly men made me afraid；
22：6阴间的绳索缠绕我，死亡的网罗临到我。
The sorrows of hell passed me about； the snares of death prevented me；
22：7我在急难中求告耶和华，向我的神呼求。他从殿中听了我的声音。我的呼求入了他的耳中。
In my distress I called upon the LORD； and cried to my God： and he did hear my voice out of his temple； and my cry did enter into his ears。
22：8那时因他发怒，地就摇撼战抖。天的根基也震动摇撼。
Then the earth shook and trembled； the foundations of heaven moved and shook； because he was wroth。
22：9从他鼻孔冒烟上腾。从他口中发火焚烧，连炭也着了。
There went up a smoke out of his nostrils； and fire out of his mouth devoured： coals were kindled by it。
22：10他又使天下垂，亲自降临。有黑云在他脚下。
He bowed the heavens also； and came down； and darkness was under his feet。
22：11他坐着基路伯飞行，在风的翅膀上显现。
And he rode upon a cherub； and did fly： and he was seen upon the wings of the wind。
22：12他以黑暗和聚集的水，天空的厚云为他四围的行宫。
And he made darkness pavilions round about him； dark waters； and thick clouds of the skies。
22：13因他面前的光辉炭都着了。
Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled。
22：14耶和华从天上打雷。至高者发出声音。
The LORD thundered from heaven； and the most High uttered his voice。
22：15他射出箭来，使仇敌四散，发出闪电，使他们扰乱。
And he sent out arrows； and scattered them； lightning； and disfited them。
22：16耶和华的斥责一发，鼻孔的气一出，海底就出现，大地的根基也显露。
And the channels of the sea appeared； the foundations of the world were discovered； at the rebuking of the LORD； at the blast of the breath of his nostrils。
22：17他从高天伸手抓住我，把我从大水中拉上来。
He sent from above； he took me； he drew me out of many waters；
22：18他救我脱离我的劲敌和那些恨我的人，因为他们比我强盛。
He delivered me from my strong enemy； and from them that hated me： for they were too strong for me。
22：19我遭遇灾难的日子，他们来攻击我。但耶和华是我的倚靠。
They prevented me in the day of my calamity： but the LORD was my stay。
22：20他又领我到宽阔之处。他救拔我，因他喜悦我。
